I am in New York talking to new shows, but I voted early!
I have to say that I was excited about voting for a new mayor, but when I walked out of the polling place I got sad. I often say I owe my job to Mayor Daley – if not for him, the Loop would be a lonely place. Because of him everyone at Broadway In Chicago was able to play a pivotal roll in helping create a vibrant commercial Theatre District. Plus, a community of over 200 theaters now populates neighborhoods all across Chicago.
May theater and the arts be top of mind for all the Mayoral and Aldermanic people you vote for today!
