At least once a week I get a call requesting a signed poster or program from one of our past shows. I just say “I am so sorry but I don’t have anything like that laying around the office. Little did I know that my Marketing cohorts have been holding out on me. They have in a dark cellar that they call “Oriental Theatre Storage” with boxes and boxes of great ….stuff – always saving for return engagements! In this mysterious sub-basement there are giant posters -called three-sheets (I wonder why?), small posters – called window cards (that I get), show playbills and show merchandise and some are even autographed or one of a kind treasures. Finally, they are going to see the light of day for a good cause.
On October 23 between 10:00 and 1:00 you can not only take a peek at our newest theatre- the Broadway Playhouse and see some cool maneuvers by the cast of TRACES and will also be able to purchase posters, programs and merchandise. Everything we sell will benefit Season of Concern which is a local agency that helps fight AIDS.
Stop by! This is an opportunity to buy some great stuff that may never happen again. See you Saturday October 23 behind Watertower.
