The opium wars have ended. The Ripper has wreaked his havoc.
And when a drowned body is discovered, and Lord Neville goes missing,
Scotland Yard, in desperation, turns for help from “the world’s only consulting detective”….

David Arquette stars as SHERLOCK HOLMES, along with James Maslow and Renee Olstead, in an original farce by Greg Kramer inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic tales. SHERLOCK HOLMES premiered in Montreal in 2013 in a sold-out, production at The Segal Centre. This SHERLOCK HOLMES was the winner of five prestigious Montreal English Theatre Awards, including Outstanding Production and Outstanding Director. Andrew Shaver (Stratford Festival) will remount the show for the North American tour which also features designs by Cirque du Soleil’s James Lavoie.

Thrilling, humorous, full of head-scratching crimes and dazzling deduction in the face of cunning evil, SHERLOCK HOLMES takes theatregoers on a heart-stopping adventure through the opium dens, the muddy docklands and the gritty backstreets of London during the turn of the century in a gripping new tale ripped from the canon of Doyles classic stories. The production has a quirky sensibility that meshes Victorian London with modern nods to Steampunk.
