Frequently Asked Questions
Lost Tickets
What do I do if I lose my tickets?
If you have lost your tickets to an upcoming performance, please call the Season Ticket Hotline (312-977-1717) as soon you realize the loss. We will confirm your assigned seating and have a “location pass” waiting for you one hour prior to show time.
Can the location passes be mailed to me?
For security purposes, location passes cannot be mailed. If you are unable to speak with a subscription representative about your lost tickets, please go to your scheduled performance one hour prior to your show time and speak with a box office agent.
Additional Tickets
As a Season Ticket Holder will I be able to order additional tickets?
Season ticket holders may usually order extra tickets before shows go on sale to the general public. Additional tickets will be best available and not necessarily comparable locations to your season tickets.
If I order additional tickets, can all the tickets be seated together?
If you wish for your additional tickets to be adjacent to your season tickets, please mail your season tickets back for an exchange and we will seat all your tickets together if available.
What are the refund and exchange policies for extra ticket orders?
There are no refunds or exchanges for extra ticket orders and seating is not guaranteed. Shows, dates, times, prices and artists are subject to change without notice.

Ticket Exchanges
What if I am not able to attend a show?
If you are unable to attend your scheduled performance, as a Season Ticket Holder you may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same production.
Will you be able to exchange my tickets for seats that are comparable to my old seats?
We make every effort to find comparable seating for exchanges, but this can not be guaranteed. We advise you to plan your schedule carefully, as seating may not be available on the date you choose for your exchange. Be aware, exchanges are based on availability, and our shows do sell out.
How do I exchange my tickets?
When exchanging tickets for any of the plays in the Broadway In Chicago season, please bring your tickets to any Broadway In Chicago Box Office (call 312-977-1700 for current hours and locations) or mail your tickets, along with the exchange form, which can be found in your subscriber handbook, and a self addressed stamped envelope to:
Broadway In Chicago
Attn: Ticket Exchange
17 N. State Street, Suite 810
Chicago, IL 60602
Note: For longer running shows, there may only be certain dates within the run you are allowed to exchange into. If you are unaware of what dates are available for you to exchange into, please call the Subscription Department at 312-977-1717.
What if I do not have an exchange form?
If you do not have the exchange form, please be sure to include a note with your tickets that gives your account number and your new date requests.
What happens if I exchange tickets from a lower priced to a higher priced performance?
When exchanging from a lower priced to a higher priced performance, the price difference is collected when processing the exchanges. When exchanging by mail, please include a credit card number for this purpose. Please call toll free 312-977-1717 to verify any price difference. Refunds are not given when moving from a higher to a lower priced performance.
How far in advance must the tickets be received by you?
Tickets must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the date printed on your season ticket.
What do I do if I want to bring a future show’s tickets with me to exchange while I am attending a different performance?
Please allow ample time, at least 45 minutes prior to curtain, in order to receive our best customer service. Due to the high volume of activity at the windows prior to curtain, you may always leave your tickets with the box office staff and they will call you the next day to discuss your exchange.
